About this app

MyElectrica application allows you to manage your account on a smartphone or tablet.

Minimum required Android OS version: 4.4 KitKat.

With MyElectrica mobile application you can quickly and easily communicate your self-read index, have access to your consumption history, view issued invoices and payments made, pay online your invoice anytime, anywhere, or find answers to your questions.

To find out how simple it is, download the application to benefit from the following features:
- Login to the application with the same password used in the customer web page
- Transmission of the self-read index
- Preview of the issued invoices, their status
- Online invoice payment
- Preview of the consumption graph, your payment history
- Location on the map of the customer relationship offices
- Contact your provider by sending a message

For authentication, you must enter the username and password you use to sign in to the customer web page. If you do not have an account, you can create one directly in the application or using the www.MyElectrica.ro web page.

The application can ask you to make phone calls (so you can make calls directly from the app), to access the location (so we can display the nearest customer relationship office) and send notifications and alerts concerning the information in the customer account.

The application will not access and process any personal data other than those submitted at the end of the supply contract.

Worst application ever. NOTHING in this app works properly. Cannot view any tab without getting some incorrect user data errors. Cannot send the index. Let's try to contact support... Well... When I try to authenticate, the form just reloads, not showing any error. So, I guess I have to wait 30min in a call to get some support. They said that they upgraded the online platform for better experience. This is a very bad "upgrade" apparently. What exactly did you upgrade? Shame!

When I tried to pay, I didn't have a password or so, I put the card details, then it required a code from SMS, put it also, then for setting that password if I put e-mail, when I switched apps to get the code, it closed the request so I had to redo the whole process again. Eventually, I resigned from the whole process and just went to the website that had the same experience. It took me too much time for a single payment to be done. Even Amazon or other big corps don't have as much security.

It's such an embarrassment that a national utility payment application is dealt with such non-professionalism. These types of apps should work flawlessly, because your wellbeing and life depends on the payments made through the app. I paid the bill on the app, BT app confirmed the payment but the Electrica app still displays the sum as being not paid. The process of payment recognition should be done in real time. Wake up, Electrica and start investing in your IT department! Read the reviews!
